Midwest Tornadoes
UMCOR is in contact with United Methodist conferences in the US Midwest that were affected by recent tornadoes that has caused severe damage.
All DUMC Soda & Card sales (DUMC Fellowship Hall every Sunday) will go to UMCOR to assist those affected by these storms.
WHY?
- Scheduling repeating online gifts creates consistency.
- You can give 24/7, not just during church services. Give when you're sick or out of town.
- We depend on weekly contributions to keep the church running.
- Online giving helps you become disciplined givers. In 1 Corinthians 8-9, Paul challenged the Corinthian believers to give intentionally, deliberately, and at a pre-determined time. Online giving helps you be intentional with your generosity.
